Die innovative chemische Reaktortechnologie von INERATEC ist der Schlüssel für die Energiewende. Wir bauen chemische Anlagen, in denen aus Treibhausgasen wie CO2 und erneuerbarem Strom synthetische Kraftstoffe und nachhaltige synthetische Produkte hergestellt werden.

Dafür suchen wir Dich als Ergänzung unseres Teams als Process Control Engineer (m/w/d) – Chemischer Anlagenbau. Dein Fokus liegt in der Konzeption, Implementierung und Optimierung von Automatisierungs- und Regelungssystemen zur effizienten Entwicklung und Steuerung unserer Anlagen. #sort: 170#PES#

Deine Aufgaben

Entwicklung, Auslegung, Implementierung und Optimierung von Steuerungs- und Regelungskonzepten für unsere modularen PtX- und GtX- Anlagen
Erstellung und Pflege von Funktionsplänen, Regelungskonzepten und Schrittketten zur Anlagensteuerung
Analyse und Optimierung bestehender Steuerungsstrategien zur Steigerung von Prozessstabilität, Anlageneffizienz und Betriebssicherheit
Unterstützung des Anlagenbetriebs bei Störungen und Prozessabweichungen
Analyse von Prozessdaten zur Identifikation von Verbesserungspotenzialen
Planung, Durchführung und Dokumentation von Softwareupdates
Unterstützung bei Sicherheits- und Risikoanalysen (z. B. HAZOP, Gefährdungsbeurteilungen)
Koordination interner Fachbereiche sowie externer Partner und Dienstleister
Definition und Weiterentwicklung von Automatisierungsstandards und Prozessrichtlinien

Dein Profil

Abgeschlossenes Studium der Chemieingenieurwesen, Verfahrenstechnik, Technischen Chemie, Automatisierungstechnik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Prozessautomatisierung oder der Prozessleittechnik in der chemischen und petrochemischen Industrie
Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Automatisierungs- und Reglungskonzepten
Sicherer Umgang mit Regelungs- und Steuerungskonzepten, Signalverarbeitung und Prozessvisualisierung
Erfahrung mit Sicherheitskonzepten und Normen in der Chemieindustrie (z.B. ATEX, SIL, HAZOP, funktionale Sicherheit)
Verständnis für Chemieanlagenbetrieb und Prozesssicherheit
Selbstständige, strukturierte Arbeitsweise, gepaart mit hoher Motivation und Teamfähigkeit
Bereitschaft zu anteiligen Dienstreisen Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Short Description

The innovative chemical reactor technology at INERATEC is a key driver of the energy transition. We build plants that convert CO₂ and renewable electricity into synthetic fuels and sustainable products.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Process Control Engineer (m/f/d).
Your focus will be on the design, implementation, and optimization of automation and control systems to ensure the efficient development and operation of our PtX and GtX plants. #sort: 170#PES#

Your tasks

Development, design, implementation, and optimization of control and automation concepts for our modular PtX and GtX plants
Creation and maintenance of functional diagrams, control concepts, and sequential control charts for plant operation
Analysis and optimization of existing control strategies to improve process stability, plant efficiency, and operational safety
Support of plant operations in troubleshooting and handling process deviations
Analysis of process data to identify optimization and improvement potential
Planning, execution, and documentation of software updates
Support in safety and risk analyses (e.g. HAZOP studies, risk assessments)
Coordination of internal technical departments as well as external partners and service providers
Definition and continuous improvement of automation standards and process guidelines

Your profile

Completed degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Technical Chemistry, Automation Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in process automation or process control systems within the chemical and petrochemical industry
Experience in the development of automation and control concepts
Confident handling of control and automation concepts, signal processing, and process visualization
Experience with safety concepts and standards in the chemical industry (ATEX, SIL, HAZOP, functional safety)
Solid understanding of chemical plant operations and process safety
Independent and structured working style combined with high motivation and strong teamwork skills
Willingness to travel occasionally as part of the role
Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
